Immerse Learn’s Plumbing Technician program combines hands-on Virtual Reality (VR) training with support for real-world apprenticeship placement, giving students a complete pathway into the plumbing trade. With a VR headset included, students practice pipe installation, fixture setup, and water system troubleshooting through realistic, immersive simulations—all from home. The program includes instructor-led videos, 3D demonstrations, e-learning modules, weekly assessments, a capstone VR project, and fully proctored final exam to evaluate readiness. Students will learn both the IPC (International Plumbing Code) and UPC (Uniform Plumbing Code) to ensure they are fully prepared for plumbing work and licensing requirements across various regions.
After completion, Immerse Learn helps students find local apprenticeship opportunities where they’ll work under a licensed plumber to gain on-the-job experience and start logging the hours required for state licensing exams, ensuring both technical readiness and industry compliance.

Each student receives a Virtual Reality (VR) headset, giving you access to hands-on training in plumbing system installation, maintenance, and repair from day one. Through VR simulations, you’ll experience real-world plumbing scenarios, allowing you to quickly gain the expertise needed to handle common challenges in residential and commercial plumbing.
Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate of completion recognizing their hands-on training and skill development.

At the end of your program, you’ll take a 120-question, fully proctored final exam to demonstrate your knowledge and skills. This exam is conducted through our official proctoring partner, MonitorEDU, ensuring a secure and professional testing experience from home.
This final exam is a required part of completing your program and demonstrating that you are fully prepared for employment in the field.
