About Certification
ImmerseLearn’s Certified Electric Vehicle (EV) Technician program equips professionals with the skills and expertise needed to succeed in the growing EV industry. This comprehensive course covers EV fundamentals, including their history, components, batteries, and drivetrains.
Students will master safety protocols, high-voltage system handling, and industry regulations while gaining hands-on experience in areas such as fundamentals of electric vehicles, electric vehicle powertrains, battery pack assembly, battery management systems (BMS), electric motors, regenerative braking, and thermal management. Through immersive VR simulations, participants develop diagnostic and repair skills to troubleshoot and maintain critical EV components effectively.
At the culmination of the program, students will undertake a VR-based capstone project, where they will apply their knowledge and demonstrate practical skills in real-world scenarios. This is complemented by a rigorous end-of-course assessment, ensuring participants meet the highest industry standards. The certification not only makes students job-ready but also prepares them for any national or statewide EV certification.
