ImmerseLearn’s Surgical Technologist program offers a hybrid training experience that blends Virtual Reality (VR) with in-person clinical externships. Students receive a VR headset at enrollment—provided and theirs to keep—allowing continuous practice. Through immersive simulations, learners build skills in sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, operating room protocols, and intraoperative procedures in a realistic, repeatable environment.
Upon completing the program and passing the fully proctored final exam, students will sit for the NCCT Surgical Technologist Exam, which is included. Graduates then begin a structured externship at a partner hospital or surgical center, assisting in real surgical procedures under professional supervision.
