How to Get a Utah Master Plumber License

Meet the minimum experience requirements (see below)
Submit a completed application and fees to the Utah DOPL
Take and pass the Utah plumbers exam

Master Experience
- Have been a licensed journeyman for at least 2 years with a minimum 2 years supervisory experience OR
- Have received an associate degree in applied science and have a minimum of 1 year supervisory experience as a licensed journeyman plumber
Master Residential Experience
- Have been a licensed residential journeyman for at least 2 years with a minimum 2 years supervisory experience
