About the Course:

This Boiler Introduction microcredential introduces HVAC technicians to the key components of a commercial boiler system and their functions. Learners will explore major boiler parts, understand how they work together during operation, and recognize the role each component plays in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable heating performance. The course emphasizes component identification, system awareness, and operational understanding to build a strong foundation for boiler maintenance and troubleshooting. 

After building this foundation, learners can advance to our Boiler Maintenance microcredential for hands-on inspection, servicing, testing, and system verification.
