Learning Objectives:

  • Identify and operate essential diagnostic tools for EV systems.
  • Diagnose electrical and electronic systems using multimeters, scan tools, and oscilloscopes.
  • Troubleshoot brake systems, including regenerative braking mechanisms in hybrid and electric vehicles.
  • Analyse suspension and steering system issues using sensor data and visual inspections.
  • Evaluate and repair climate control (HVAC) systems, focusing on heat pump and electric compressor diagnostics.
