What is a sequencer in HVAC? A sequencer is a time-delay switch that stages electric heating elements on and off in order. This microcredential trains HVAC technicians to accurately diagnose and replace sequencers in electric heating systems. Learners will identify wiring errors, recognize common failure modes such as shorted coils or faulty contacts, and practice replacing sequencers with the correct specifications.
