Through immersive VR simulations, learners gain hands-on experience in performing fingerstick and heelstick techniques, handling specimens, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.The course emphasizes proper site selection, infection control, accurate sample collection, and documentation critical skills for medical assistants involved in point-of-care testing and diagnostic procedures. This microcredential is part of our comprehensive clinical medical assistant program, where learners build full diagnostic and patient care skills.
