About the Course:

This Introduction to General Hand Tools microcredential trains HVAC associates to identify, select, inspect, and safely use common hand tools required for HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair. Learners will practice recognizing tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, cutters, hammers, measuring tools, and other essential equipment used in HVAC service tasks. 

The course emphasizes proper tool selection, safe handling, equipment inspection, and correct usage techniques. Through practical training, learners develop the skills needed to use hand tools confidently, efficiently, and safely while supporting quality HVAC service operations.
