About the Course:

Peak Flow Rate Measurement is a common clinical procedure used to assess how well air moves through the lungs. This microcredential introduces learners to the purpose, importance, and proper technique of measuring peak expiratory flow rate using a peak flow meter in healthcare settings. 

Through immersive VR simulations, learners gain practical experience preparing the patient and equipment, explaining the procedure, positioning the patient correctly, performing the measurement, and recording the results accurately. The course emphasizes proper technique, patient communication, infection prevention, and accurate measurement practices.
