About the Course:

This AC Outdoor Unit Inspection microcredential trains HVAC associates to identify and visually inspect the major components of an HVAC outdoor unit. Learners will explore the condition and purpose of key parts, including the compressor, condenser coil, condenser fan, electrical components, refrigerant lines, and service connections. 

Through immersive VR simulations, learners will practice inspecting different parts of the outdoor unit for visible damage, dirt, wear, loose connections, corrosion, and other abnormal conditions while following appropriate safety procedures. 

Build on these inspection skills with HVAC air conditioner maintenance for broader system care and service.
